DiGi S.W.A.T. PUSH BUTTON CONTROLS

PROGRAM SELECT: With just the push of a button, adjust both timers and weld power setting to one of ten welding programs. Weld program list is printed on front panel.
DIGITAL WELDING POWER Control: Set welding voltage from 4 to 10 volts. This setting will accommodate 18 ga to 30 ga steel or galvanized steel.
DIGITAL WELDING TIMER Control: Sets weld time from 0 to 99 cycles*. Each weld cycle is validated before timer is incremented, insuring uniformity of every weld.
DIGITAL PREHEAT TIMER Control: Sets preheat time from 0 to 99 cycles*. Preheating the weld zone eliminates expulsion or blow out.
Preheat time validation: Each preheat cycle is verified for power before preheat timer is incremented.
Washable Decal: Has complete instructions and protects switches from dirt and moisture.

S.W.A.T.-TRONICS controls the big 70 pound transformer with a Motorola HC11 microcontroller. The Digital controls are as easy to use as a desktop calculator, just pressing a button sets time and/or power.
S.W.A.T.-TRONICS Digital Preheat Timer Control makes easy work out of auto body repair welding. Preheating warms the metal with low power burning the primers, sealers, rustproofing, or even rust from between the layers of steel. This heating also lets the

TITE-SOPT Welding Pliers squeeze the metal together for a perfect fit.
S.W.A.T.-TRONICS lets the pre-heat timer "tick" ONLY if the proper amount of preheat current is flowing. This feature prepares the weld zone for welding.
S.W.A.T.-TRONICS lets the welding timer "tick" ONLY if the proper amount of welding current is flowing, giving you uniform welds every time. When the DiGi S.W.A.T weld timer fires, you get no expulsion and perfect welds.

The Heart of the DiGi S.W.A.T. Welder is the extended service transformer. This 10 volt transformer has an extended duty cycle because of its thermal mass (53 pounds of transformer laminate) BIGGER than any competitor. Oversized copper windings (6.5 pounds of #8 square wire on the primary, and 8 pounds of 1 inch by 3/8 inch bar on the secondary) minimize heat-build in heavy-duty use.
