As any good craftsman can tell you, good tools make the work easy! Just ask me, Paul Wilcox, President of TITE-SPOT Welders, Inc. I have been in the Body Shop Industry for the past 35 years. I have made my living doing the work and consider myself a journeyman. I have also been a Body Shop Manager at a Buick garage and I have owned my own shop.
Wherever the job, I recognized a need for efficient welding tools, tools that were fast, safe and could reproduce that "factory appearance". In 1983, I created the TITE-SPOT PliersTM. This was the first spot welding pliers manufactured for the Body Shop Industry with patented compressed air-cooling, and is still the only one on the market today. Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, TITE-SPOT Welders, Inc. has continued to innovate and make superior welding equipment which now includes the powerful S.W.A.T.TM Welder and the sophisticated DiGi S.W.A.T.TM Welder.
I have designed and build 440 volt units as specials for General Motors. I have produced video training tapes to further help professional technicians like yourself.
